Been a while

Wow so last time I blogged I was talking about wedding details. Well the wedding was wonderful and everything we dreamed of. We couldnt have asked for more.

After we got married we traveled a bit doing some promotional marketing for Geico! We got to go to Washington DC so that was a lot of fun. Since we didn't get to go on an actual honeymoon we were glad to have gotten to go somewhere together even if we did have to work some. We came back home for a month and waited for Robbie's big tour to start with Region's Bank. As we prepared we found out almost exactly a month after we got married that we were preggo!!! We were not too thrilled about it which kinda saddened us because you want to be super excited about your first baby. It just came as such a shock to us and we are completely unprepared for it. But we are so thankful for so many friends and family that have encouraged us. It's a huge way to really have to relay and trust in God, because we know we can not do it without His help. I am now 12 weeks pregnant and I get my ultrasound tomorrow. I'm so excited about getting to see the baby for the first time. I'm sad that my husband can not make it and I know that he is extremely sad that he is not going to be able to be there too.

On another note, Robbie has two churches are that are looking at him for a youth ministry position. We are very excited about this. They are both in South Carolina, and things are looking hopeful since Robbie did not apply for either of the churches, they found him! So we are hopeful that one of them is where God wants us to serve. It will be great to finally have some stability and be in one place where I can start teaching and we can raise our child together, instead of Robbie being on the road all the time.

Well till next time I am going to do what I do best. Sit in a chair and fight Nausea all day. Oh and those that think pregnancy is the greatest thing ever!!! You are CRAZY!!!! I would rather have my sweet baby crying in my arms and wake up for midnight feedings than being sick everyday and not have an appetite for anything.
