One thing at a Time

Okay, so I figured out that if I focus on thing at a time the wedding seems to look closer and closer. I graduate in 4 weeks!! :) and I am so excited! I figure if I focus on these 4 weeks going by then after I graduate I can say I am getting married in 2 months!! :) I have put wedding stuff to a halt right now because of school. But as soon as I graduate I am going full forward on everything WEDDING! I am trying right now to focus on the now and enjoy the time I have with friends and family because before long I will be with Robbie probably in another state starting our lives together. Exciting and scary at the same time.

Anyways since my last post we have had a lot of things done. I got to go to South Carolina during my spring break and see the venue!! It was beautiful and I cant wait to spend my special day there. We also went cake tasting(which I recommend everyone that gets married do!) It was so much fun and we hired our cake baker Ellen athttp://ekcakes.com/. She is amazing and is going to do our wonderfully simple cake in a coca cola flavor(which really does not taste like coke, it taste like chocolate but not as sweet).This is the cake I have in mind. Except the ribbons on the bottom would be clover green and black pen stripes. And the yellow band with the monogram would be a black ribbon with a J and R on it.

We also went to a couple hotels in the area to get a discounted rate for our guests. We also have gotten our marriage counseling underway but completing some surveys, so I am excited to see where that is going. Our engagement pictures came out this week also, so I have been constantly looking at those to figure out which ones are my favorites to send out to family and friends, and which ones I want to print out for myself.This one is my favorite so far.

We also figured out what songs we want for the ceremony and what song is going to be our first dance song. Other than that, all the fine details are on pause until I graduate. This is my last week to teach a subject. After this week my teacher will be taking everything back and I will be observing for the rest of the semester! I am so relieved because I have so much stuff due. I am ready for this change. :) Anyways well this is what has been going on in the life of Jenn lately. I will try to post more often.
