Decatur,GA

Since Robbie has been working in Atlanta all week. We have been staying in Decatur, Ga. Which is just east of atlanta, about 20 minutes without traffic away from downtown. We have been staying at the Holiday Inn right in Downtown. The downtown area is so adorable. I love walking around it. Of course it would be better if it wasn't so COLD! Anyways, the other day I was strolling around getting some lunch when I came across this shop called "Vivid Boutique". I decided from the outside looking in that I would LOVE this store and probably shouldn't go in because I would spend money. Well, I figured I had nothing else to do since Robbie is working and walked in. I was right, I SHOULD NOT have went in there. Or maybe I should have!? ha ha. With Robbie and I starting our home together, I have been so into decorating and wanting cute things for our walls and I am obsessed with candles. This store was like a really cute vintage style gift shop with the BEST home decor items! Not only that, but unlike most boutique style stores/gift shops, this store was not overpriced!
That being said I came out of the store with only two items. I was kinda nervous when Robbie got back, because it was my first time going shopping without him and just buying something. Its kinda weird for me even though we are married because he is the one who makes all the money ha. Anyways, he wasn't upset at all and really loved what I got and I told him that he needed to go back there with me. This is what I got the first day I went.

I got these beautiful tea towels for our kitchen.

I am absolutely in LOVE with these ceramic coasters. I cant wait for people to use them! :)

So yesterday, they were having a lighting of the Christmas Tree in the square in downtown, and along with this they had all there shops open for longer and the stores were going to have discounts. So of course I make Robbie go back to this shop, and he really actually enjoyed it and we got a few more things. I cant wait to use them!

These are picture frames, I guess you could call them. They are made of tin, and the Fleur De leis' are magnets.

Cute picture frame.

A wall plate holder! Love it, and we figured we could put our wedding plate in it.

Anyways, now that I was bored enough to share things that I bought LOL. I must say that if you are even in Decatur, GA you should go to "Vivid Boutique".

Since I have been in this hotel, I have been watching "16 and pregnant". I LOVE it. I think its a wonderful example of why teens should not have children. First of all almost every man in the show usually leaves or wants nothing to do with the mother or sometimes the child. Some of the guys on this show are such jerks. But there have been the few who have pleasantly surprised me. It makes me so grateful and reminds me of why God created man and woman. Why he created us to become one. I am so grateful to have a supportive husband. Even though this isnt when we planned to have children and the stress of a baby has changed a lot of our plans or plans that we would love to see follow through. He has really made sure that we have what we need so far. He is also so caring and helps me when I don't feel good. He even got an app on his phone that tells him what is going on every week as my body changes and the baby changes. Its so sweet that he is so involved. God really did bless me with a wonderful partner. Im just so ready to be done with all this traveling, and to be a part of a church family again. I cant wait for this thing called "stability" to hit us! But again, only in His timing.
